These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Bititec Systems & Supplies Limited website and any purchase, lease or service arranged through it. By browsing the site or placing an order, you accept these terms. Please read them carefully — if you do not agree with them, kindly do not use the site.

Use of the Website

You may use our website to learn about our products, request quotes and get in touch with our team. You agree to use it lawfully and not to disrupt, damage or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems. Content on the site is provided for general information and may be updated or changed at any time without notice.

Product Information

We work hard to describe our printers, copiers, KRA-approved ETR machines, shredders, telephone systems and consumables as accurately as possible. Even so, images, specifications and descriptions are for guidance and may differ slightly from the actual product, as manufacturers occasionally revise their models. If a particular specification matters to you, please confirm it with our team before ordering.

Orders & Payments

Submitting an order or enquiry is a request to purchase, which we confirm once stock and pricing have been verified. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. Payment terms are agreed at the time of purchase, and details for approved methods — including M-Pesa and bank transfer — are provided during the ordering process.

Pricing & Taxes

Prices are quoted in Kenya Shillings and, unless clearly stated otherwise, are subject to applicable taxes such as VAT. We make every effort to keep pricing accurate, but prices may change without notice and a quotation is valid only for the period stated on it. If an obvious pricing error occurs, we will let you know before processing your order.

Shipping & Delivery

We deliver across Kenya, and delivery times and costs depend on your location and the items ordered. We aim to dispatch promptly, but any timeframes we give are estimates rather than guarantees, and we are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Risk in the goods passes to you once they have been delivered.

Returns & Refunds

If something is not right with your order, please contact us as soon as possible. In line with the Kenya Consumer Protection Act, 2012, eligible items may be returned within seven (7) days of delivery provided they are unused and in their original packaging, and defective goods may be repaired, replaced or refunded. Some items — such as opened consumables and ETR/eTIMS machines already registered with KRA — are not returnable unless faulty. Approved refunds are made using your original payment method. Warranty

All new products we supply carry a manufacturer's warranty of one (1) year against manufacturing defects, unless a different period is confirmed in writing at the point of sale. Warranty does not extend to damage caused by mishandling, drops, liquid spillage, electrical faults, unauthorised changes to internal components, the use of counterfeit consumables not supplied by Bititec, or normal wear and tear. Leasing & Service Contracts

As an alternative to outright purchase, we offer photocopiers and other equipment on lease under a Lease of Equipment and Service Contract. Under a typical lease, billing is on a cost-per-copy basis with an agreed minimum monthly copy volume, and copies above that minimum are charged at the same per-copy rate. The monthly charge is all-inclusive — covering on-site preventive maintenance, on-call repairs, all spare parts, consumables such as toner, developers and drums, and transport — so there are no hidden costs. We deliver, install and train your team free of charge, respond to service calls promptly, and provide standby equipment during any extended repair. Lease terms typically run for three (3) years, with either party giving three (3) months' written notice to renew or terminate; invoices are payable within 30 days. The equipment remains the property of Bititec throughout the lease. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos and the Bititec name and mark — belongs to Bititec or is used with permission and is protected by law. Manufacturer brand names and logos remain the property of their respective owners and are shown to indicate the products we supply. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse our content for commercial purposes without our written consent.

Limitation of Liability

We provide our website and services in good faith and to the best of our ability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or the products, beyond the value of the goods or services purchased. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Third-Party Links

Our site may link to external websites and services that we do not operate or control. These links are provided for convenience only, and we are not responsible for the content, products or practices of those third parties.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our business or the law. The version published on this page is the one that applies, so please review it whenever you use the site.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and any dispute relating to them or to your use of our website is subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
